The easiest & shortest of all the coffee rides! Only 18km round trip. Jackalope is traditionally home to any number of aspiring comic book artists, grizzled bike messengers, and self satisfied Uchicago undergrads seeking a respite from Hyde Park.

COFFEE RIDES
Total novices are welcome! While most participants use road bikes, any old clunker will do. There is a long history of 19 year olds riding rusty 49 year old Schwinns on these little trips. Should the route feel challenging, someone will stick around, to chat and sheperd you to safety, and hopefully some delicious snacks. If you are more experienced, or tight on time, note that some folks skip the coffee stop and zoom back home for a combination social/workout hybrid ride. As always, meet at the shop, departing 10min after the hour.
